Ah crap. I forgot that I only have Step 1 boards. These use the SCSI controller for DMA and I'll bet that thing is tricky to set up. No guarantees it will succeed on the actual board but we could develop some code anyway and try.

Best approach I think is to copy the data from one of VF3's viewport, including that all important matrix 0. Then figure out a way to display a single big triangle in the center of the screen.

Anyone want to try? A good way to test is to just hard code the data into Supermodel :) Then I can try writing a program and testing it in emulation during my flight Tuesday.

I can give it a go, it shouldn't be too hard, just finishing off Harry's mipmapping code additions :)

Nice :) I need to get my dev environment up and running again. Hope I can do it... it was quite a pain to set up. I have a cross compiler that hopefully will still work. Then I need to get VMware up and running on my laptop again for the EPROM programmer. Yikes!

Since I don't have inputs hooked up to my board the best I can do is run a couple of tests one after another, with time delays. I was building a Sega Genesis controller adapter a couple years ago but somehow fried my game pad and never resumed the project.
