Changing the Mouse Pointer

My favorite input for HD L.A. Riders is the mouse so that I can bank the motorcycle smoothly. The thing is when in window mode, the mouse pointer is too small that in certain circumstances it becomes almost invisible. Is there any way to customize it so that it can go way bigger than its default size and color? I've changed the pointer from Windows 7 control panel to the extra-large one, but upon hovering in the Supermodel3 window, it changes itself to what it seems to be the default size and color.
