Attempting to run Star Wars Trilogy on 2011 Mac

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6 and have installed SDL 1 and 2 with homebrew through the terminal.

Every time I try to start the game I get:

dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/SDL.framework/Versions/A/SDL
Referenced from: /Applications/./Supermodel_02a/Supermodel
Reason: image not found
Abort trap: 6

I have followed all the steps and tried different methods of installing but nothing seems to work. Can't find anything via google either.

Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Install SDL2 by copying the Framework to your "/Library/Frameworks" folder... [you don't need the homebrew version for Supermodel]

Download from here:
http://libsdl.org/download-2.0.php

[The Install instructions are detailed in the included README].

P.S. You need to run supermodel with the "-legacy3d" switch on macOS to get correct graphical output...
