You should be able to use the '-config-inputs' option on the command line. Simply follow the instructions but make sure that the blank window that pops up is always selected (even though messages appear in the terminal window), otherwise inputs will not be detected. You can read the README.txt or here for more info.

Well I started pressing buttons and managed to the the game started but I some how froze it now I get this message, with the music still playing but a blank game screen when I try to run the game again:

PowerPC hit an invalid instruction. Halting emulation until reset

You'll need to be more specific. Also, I think you will find that your problem is clearly addressed in the README.txt (section 10). I suggest reading all of it.

I'm all reset now. I was wondering for any of you who are playing the SW trilogy, what is the best controller to use? I obviously can't play it with a laptop keyboard, so should I just buy an xbox or PS controller even though I don't own either of those consoles?
