Star Wars Trilogy black screen?

Postby zergslayer69 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 10:13 pm

I went back 10 pages and couldn't find a relevant thread discussing this. There's a version of the trilogy that runs at seemingly half speed while another that does full speed. However the strange thing is the full speed one plays music but the screen stays black once player is supposed to gain control. I'm using the analog fix suggested by daryl so I don't know if that affects anything (doubt it). Is this a known issue or is everybody just playing the game in half speed?

Edit: Looks like after some digging you just gotta wait for vader to show up before inserting a coin>

I know this is old but did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue and sometimes it skips the into completely and goes straight to the selection screen so I can't even wait for Vader.

Sounds like you quit the previous game and still had credits.

You must have quit with credits still logged in the machine. Clear the NVRAM (Alt-N) and reset (Alt-R). Or, just use up the credits by playing the game

Was having this same problem. Thank you for the fix by clearing NVRAM!
