Right, so where do I start?

Im new to all this. I only used supermodel and model2 emus for my gun4ir/sinden lightguns cause just love shooters. Somewhere in the past 2 months i started to look at sega rally amd daytona roms and remembered how much i loved them in the arcades. Fast forward a week and i bought a playseat challenge and a g29 used. Sucked. Got a g25 and wow freaking amazing. Got hooked and moved on to scud sr2 daytona 2 etc. Loving it. Got a upgraded power brick for g25 and felt event better but started to look for videos and reviews of DD wheels on arcade racers. Not much of those lying around... spoke to Isamu and got myself a csl dd 8nm. And here i am. Feeling like a truck ran over me. My arms sore. Smiling like a kid.
Beat my record on sega rally by 1 second first play with default settings. Just like that. Not even trying. Im lost at words. I know 1k its a lot for most of us and for several not even an option. Its a luxury. Its something else. The force and level of detail are just out of this world. Oh and wait? Did you say u suck at drifting with scud? Not anymore you dont... i been training to tame mclaren on begginer day. Hard to master those 2 drifts before track finish without spinning or hitting wall. Nailed them first lap... let me try again to make sure it wasnt luck. Nope. Got them perfect again. And again.

I have a feeling that snow track i cant get past for weeks now in sr2 is goin down tonight...
