Daytona 2 Multiplayer Colors?

Yes, it's me, Eric!!! Some of you know who I'm talking about.

So I remember playing Daytona 2 multiplayer setups at the arcade with cars that were numbered from 1 to 8, not the traditional 41 which was for single-player only. Each player was designated a specific color car. In Daytona 1, I'm fairly certain everyone remembers the sequence:

P1 - Red
P2 - Blue
P3 - Yellow
P4 - Green
P5 - Black
P6 - Pink
P7 - Light Blue
P8 - Orange

In Daytona 2, it goes something like this:

P1 - White
P2 - Blue
P3 - Black
P4 - Yellow
P5 - Red??? (I only saw a 6-player Daytona 2 setup ONCE so this is based on faint memores)
P6 - Light Blue???
P7 - ???
P8 - ???
P9, P10, P11, P12...???



You check out the Game Assignments and look at Car Number and there's which number car you are...but since it's not possible to link systems together, I don't know which car you'll get when you switch to that player. This has always been a mystery to me. Maybe with the Supermodel emulator, we can find out some day!

Hey Eric. I've been reading your blog recently, there's some good stuff there. I think the Phantom looks pretty nifty in black and yellow, and would look even cooler in red and black (if such a colour exists).
