I tried each car on both versions of the game, and I don't get that glitch on r270. Which is sort of funny, since I have a Radeon card. Radeon handling something correctly, for once? :o

Just played Battle on the Edge version, confirmed that this bug also happens in the Expert course, specially when you have a lot of cars around you, but also, it only happens in specific parts of the track. THe begginer course is also affected like Power Edition is.

My specs: ASUS K55V with Core i5 CPU + GeForce GT 635M 2GB + 6GB RAM.

UPDATE: OK, just played Power Edition in Time Attack mode in Begginer course. The blue bug didn't appear.
I guess the problem is definitelly when other cars are around, specifically with the fumes of the tires.

Also, anyone noticed that the CHECKPOINT and FINAL LAP led signs of the game aren't displaying correctly?
They display like: FIN FINLAP or: CHECK CHECINT or something like that...

Try a Arcade Machine, make sure that bugs is from the SEGA Company and not for the emulator ;)

Yeah... I used to play the game in the arcades... Back when there was a bowling alley in town... Now I can't find one of those anywhere.. And I moved town twice already....
They're just vanishing.... =(

So I can't do that anymore... Last time i played so a couple of years ago.... Around 2007 was the last year I played in one of them....

Are you reffering to the blue screen bug or the CHECKPOINT bug? XD

Lol, only now I saw that we're in the same country. =P=P

Let's keep it english for the others.

Yeah, there are still some at a national level, but I'm on Alentejo, used to be on Montijo near Lisboa, I only can find Daytona USA 2 machines in Colombo and those are twin cabinets from Battle on the Edge that, unfortunatelly, aren't at they're best state... =(

Around here in V. Novas, none to be found....

Yeah... THe lack of maintenance on the machines, not only pisses me off because I can't play correctly, but also gives me pitty, since they're getting even more rare every day that passes and the ppl who have them don't give a damn for them... =(

Those that used to be in the bowling alley wehere in pretty good shape though... THe only thing bad was the screen that already was ghosted has hell... aside from that the volume, handling, everything was pretty good, and they where 2 Deluxe machines connected to each other. Good head-to-head racings I made there... =)

There's also a pretty good Twin cabinet in the center of Montijo but it's of Sega Rally 2.
That one is really good, like 95% good.

But why where these good?
Because they have someone to look out for them.

In the bowling, the owners where very restrict about managing the arcades: example: No kids allowed. EVER.
Kids tend to break them...

And in Montijo: the small arcade saloon is owned by a lady that has her store right next to it, so she's always watching the ppl that enter the saloon and makes shure they use the arcades properly.

That still helps to preserve them. But there are places that the machines are completely "abandoned", just there for the small profit they may still give... What a waste. =(
