SEGA Rally 2: binding joystick to instances windows focus

Postby zuppa_di_pesce » Mon Nov 01, 2021 1:49 am

Hey everybody!
Sorry for the cryptic weird title...
I wonder how can I play in multiplayer whn both instances running on same computer (127.0.0.1).
Am I missing something or there's some trick to focus both windows separately at the same tome?
I mean configure JOY1 (as Player1) and bind its inputs focusing with master window and configure JOY2 (as Player2) to bind its inputs focusing with slave window having the two instances both on focus.
"Did you surfcast that fish?" - "Kinda... But... That wasn't a fish... It was a GNU!"

Only one instance of Supermodel can be in focus at once, and right now Supermodel only accepts inputs from XInput compatible controllers when it is out of focus. This means you would need three Xbox controllers, or at least controllers that can make games think they are Xbox controllers to get this to work.

It shouldn’t be too hard for us to add an option to allow Supermodel to accept controller inputs even when out of focus.
