Configuration of a G920 Wheel

Postby Leo Sasquatch » Fri Nov 20, 2020 1:25 am

Hi.

I'm having difficulty with this. Brand new G920 - I can't calibrate the steering or the pedals.

I launch the config options - press b - go to the wheel which shows up as the only controller connected. Configure the full range of the X axis, but these values don't appear to be preserved in the saved .ini file.

The brake pedal on the G920 has a big lump of rubber under it. It fails calibration every time. The accelerator and clutch both configure with a value very different to the brake pedal. But in all the racing games I've tried, Scud Race, NASCAR and Daytona 2, when I go into the game, it recognised the very sluggish wheel, and thinks the brake pedal is the accelerator. It won't recognise the actual accelerator at all. And because the brake pedal seems to have limited travel compared to the other two pedals, it's not possible to get the car up to full speed, even with my foot feeling like it's about to break the pedals.

And the steering is very vague - requires huge movements of the wheel to make the car turn even a little.

Any advice appreciated.

I suggest using the Logitech Software to make it so the max steering is around 270º. If you are using a GUI, it may be overwriting the INI.
