Hello everyone. Thanks to Bart for creating Model3 emulator.
I've been waiting 12 years SpikeOut able to play at my house.
SpikeOut can be played correctly but has sound errors and makes it work slower in some parts of the game. But even so I'm happy with the emulation.
Thanks again Bart and to Team.

Yes, Supermodel is excellent, and I appreciate it very much !

Bart, do you also experience frame drop (delay) when new enemies appearing or during scene transition in Spikeout ?

Do you know what are the reasons to make the delay ?

Thanks

I've tested the game on another PC i3 2.8 GHz, and the game runs more stable. I think it is by the power of the microprocessor.

Mi pc:
Cuadcore 2.6 GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti

Spikeout final edition works very good with 60 fps every time except sometime little slow down, when you change area!!

My old CPU C2Duo E6750 overclocked to 3.33 ghtz and my XFX HD 6870 make good job!

Emulation is very good but could be better for next release, think!

Congratulation...dont forget it is just the second release guys!! :D

Spikeout in 4player co-op is something of a legend!! back int he 90's this was Virtua Fighter meets Streets of rage.. :)

The shopping mall level is awesome, fighting in the fast food restruant with chairs/tables and grabbing baseball bats from the shelves in the sports shop. :)

Hi Hitman. I've been playing with spikeout at 49-50 FPS . My graphics card is very powerful but I see that supermodel does not use all his power. I guess the work is done by the microprocessor. I'm planning to overclock.
I do not know if you have a dual core or quad core and also your graphics card is not very powerful. In any case when Bart optimeze supermodel, will be a better experience for Spikeout.
I use this configuration:

supermodel -fullscreen -ppc-frequency=50 -res=1280,1024 -music-volume=60 -sound-volume=130 -show-fps spikeout.zip
or
supermodel -ppc-frequency=50 -res=496,348 -music-volume=60 -show-fps spikeout.zip

We should ban all framerate complaining.. the emulator is in alpha state and already shows remarkable speed and compatibility. Nothing to do but wait for updates or upgrade your hardware.
