Nice driving :) Glad you're still getting this much enjoyment out of Supermodel (and if the developers of Daytona 2 knew how passionate Supermodel fans were about it, I'm sure they'd be even prouder that their creation is being enjoyed 20 years later). Are you using a steering wheel when you play?

Thanks Bart :D , and yes, I'm using a Logitech DFGT wheel for this. Can you believe it's been over 7 years since the official release of Supermodel?

It's hard to believe. Even stranger to think back to 2003 when Stefano, Ville, and I got together and unified our emulator effort. Back then I was still developing in DOS :D I probably still have that old code somewhere... Sourceforge still has Supermodel code dating back to that time period in CVS. You might recall the early WIP screenshots that were shown on System16.com. It's quite fun to look at. I'm getting meta-nostalgic: nostalgia about developing an emulator for a platform I was nostalgic for

Bump, but I reckon my time laps/scores for Scud Race should go here as well. This was my first time finishing the Expert course in time lap mode with the McLaren. Definitely nowhere near as good as the Marubaku guys, but decent.

To drift smoothly, I tend to rapidly tap the brake and gas (sometimes just hold them both) and shift back to the next gear.

Not Supermodel related, but I managed to finally get around to getting some video capture of me tackling the Expert course in Daytona USA on Model 2 Emulator: https://youtu.be/z-QBDLiCtsE

Not Supermodel related either, I'll share a texture pack for Daytona USA (on Model 2 Emu) next week, made with a lot of respect for it's 25th anniversary and to thank you all, maintaining the memory of these legendary games ;)
