Is the file actually infected with a virus or malware? This is something that has always concerned me about unofficial builds and other third party utilities. If anyone suspects it is the case and can prove it, please alert me immediately.

I scanned the Sega Model 3 UI WIP 18-09-2020 zip file with bitdefender antivirus free edition and found nothing.

Than i used Virus Total:

47665fabc4b1759c7242c9cefa602202259a3fe562e030e903210f097d7f69f2

Jiangmin Trojan.PSW.Predator.fk

...and some "unable to process file type"

I hope is a false positive.

Eset NOD 32 reports nothing, I suspect it`s a false positive. I wouldn't trust any free anti-virus programs.

I mean, from my intention .. it was always to help, but if it marks a "false positive" it is for using certain libraries ... it was never my intention, but if the GUI is removed from the forums, I will never really work on it again, my Intension was only to share and not harm anyone .... those who know me know what I'm talking about and those who don't ... I feel sorry for them.

if you think you can do better .... try it! I would really enjoy it too! ... If you don't, I can't speak for you.
Cheers

Easy to figure out, just put the supermodel.exe and sdl libraries in the GUI root folder, then make a rom folder and put all the roms in there, then point the gui to that folder from the "roms path" option at the bottom of the main menu.

Setting the rom path etc. is easy, but i couldn't get the steering wheel configured, how do you bind controls?
