Daytona USA 2 BOTE & Motion Platform

Hi,

So I know the seat has motion in Daytona USA 2 BOTE (probably other versions as well but I don't know for sure), as an owner of a DOF Reality P3 platform I would love to be able to get the motion data from the game. Has that been emulated, is the data for the motion available somehow? I suspect the data wouldn't be of the right type for this to work, some translation would probably be required. The DOF Reality platform interacts with the game data using a software called Sim Racing Studio, this software supports multiple motion platforms and is very popular.

Thanks

It's not emulated and I didn't even know about it. We'd have to find where the commands are being written to. It shouldn't be too hard for someone to track down. Some outputs can be routed to apps like MAME Hooker for things like cabinet lights.

Hmm, ok. I don't know the first thing about emulation or how to go about this. Is this something likely to happen?

In the meantime, here's a video of the motion in action. Not my video.

It's unlikely to happen soon, this is a part time project and all the core contributors are very busy lately. However, the project is open source and we welcome pull requests.
