Sound Mixing

Post by HelperUnknown »

Not sure if anyone else encountered this, but when I was playing Daytona USA 2, I noticed that the pit crew voice was way too quiet. Is there any way to fix this?

Adjust front/rear balance using the -balance command line option or Balance setting in the INI file. This is the relative balance between the front and rear speakers.

There is also a BalanceFrontRear option which does the same thing, basically, just at a different point in the code. Both range from -100.0 to 100.0.

I assume -100 is fully rear speakers?

I think so. Give it and 100 a try and it should become clear. Remember that you can set this only for Daytona by creating a special section at the bottom of Supermodel.ini for these games:

Code: Select all

[ daytona2, dayto2pe ]
BalanceFrontRear = -50
