linux Supermodel3 link mode

hi.
im using Batocera OS which uses supermodel3 emulator.
im trying to link two machines for games multiplayer but without success.

the "same procedure" works for model2 which i already have success pairing and playing but something is missing for me in supermodel3.

im editing each machine supermodel.ini, network = true, ports in ring mode in each machine.
then in each game, i access the test menu and config machine 1 to master car 1 and machine 2 to slave car 2.
what am i missing?

Paste the configs here as well as the command you use to start each instance of Supermodel. Also, please paste the Supermodel.log. To make this more readable, there are code tags you can use here to format the text.
