Supermodel straight up doesn't work at all for me either on deck or desktop linux

anyone else experiencing this? it just crashes instantly no matter how many times i reinstall or which version i use (flatpak vs aur). i tried launching roms with it and also no dice, tried launching with terminal, nothing. please let me know what other info i should provide for troubleshooting purposes

These are not official distributions. Only the Windows binaries on the download page are official. Linux and macOS must be built from source but it is relatively straightforward to do so.

Hey there 😁

Did you know that there's a program that you can run Windows applications on your Steam Deck? It's called Proton. It's a compatibility layer that allows you to run Windows executable files on Steam OS. I recently installed Steam OS on my Small Form Factor PC and Supermodel works great with no issues!! Just make sure that you get the newer GUI. I was told that it's works very well and I also, the Model 2 Emulator as well as Demul works very good with the software
